Compendex is the bibliographic database containing references to over 5,000 engineering journals and conferences. These references are also included in Scopus. As the Library subscribes to both electronic resources and following consultation with the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science, a decision has been taken to cancel the subscription to Compendex. This will come into effect as of 31 December 2009.
Scopus is a large abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources. Quick, easy and comprehensive, it includes 29 million abstracts from over 15,000 peer-reviewed titles from more than 4,000 publishers and 265 million quality web pages through the Scirus search engine to cover the scientific web.
