TitleTimeBase LawOne and Point-in-time services
Trial starts01 May 2012
Trial ends01 Jun 2012
Description The ANU Law Library is currently trialling LawOne, a Timebase legislation service which contains full text current and repealed legislation from all Australian jurisdictions and includes a Point-In-Time service which allows users to view past, present and future legislation on a range of topics such as corporations, migration, income tax.  It is updated daily and users can choose to receive customised email alerts by subject area or individual Act or bill.

In one easy-to-use interface users can link through to amending and subordinate legislation, bills, explanatory memorandums and second reading speeches, view detailed legislative histories and download the full text of legislation as passed. Timebase also provides an efficient search interface across all nine jurisdictions and the facility to browse from over thirty subject areas and view current and repealed legislation grouped by subject. A Case Link service for cases from the mid-nineties is also available with links to cases which interpret sections of Acts or Regulations.
