eHRAF (Human Relations Area Files)

Produced by Yale University's Human Relations Area Files consortium, eHRAF is a full-text online resource designed to facilitate comparative studies of human behaviour, society and culture.

Full-text materials include books, journal articles, and dissertations on all aspects of cultural and social life, Western & non-Western cultures, ethnic minorities, indigenous people, and archaeological traditions.

This database is ideal for research and teaching in the social sciences, humanities, as well as medicine, and other disciplines having an interest in cultural diversity.

A trial has been arranged for ANU staff and students to access HRAF's Archaeology and World Cultures databases until 31st December 2009.
