Celebrating R.G. Menzies Library 50th Anniversary

On 13 March 1963, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II declared open the R.G. Menzies Building of the University Library.

To commemorate the opening of the first purpose built library facility at the ANU, please join us for a fascinating look at the history of this building and the people, collections and technology of the ANU Library over the past 50 years.

ANU Library

September 2013–February 2014

The Treasures of the ANU Library exhibition highlights some of the rare, unusual, and precious items held in the ANU Library.

The exhibition is curated by members of the Asia Pacific Learning Community and volunteers from the ANU School of Art in association with Menzies Library staff.
