Accessing the Collection
Journal articles and book chapters
For online delivery of journal articles and book chapters located in the ANU Print Repository, complete the Request an Item form linked from the ANU Library catalogue entry. Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email with instructions for online access. Please print the article/chapter or download to your own computer.
Books, pamphlets and journal volumes
For physical items, complete the Request an Item form linked from the Library catalogue entry.
Books, pamphlets and journal volumes/issues held in the ANU Print Repository are available for loan in accordance with the normal borrowing rules. Material requested for retrieval will be delivered to the Chifley Library Reserve area for subsequent use or borrowing.
Lecturers may request materials required to support educational courses be returned to the Chifley library for inclusion in the Reserve Collection.
Delivery time
Physical items will normally be retrieved and returned to the Chifley Library Reserve area within 24 hours for pick up after 1pm. The 24 hour delivery standard also applies to requests supplied online. Requests submitted after 10:00am on Friday will be processed on the next normal business day. Requests will not be processed on weekends or public holidays.
Returning loans
Material borrowed from the ANU Print Repository may be returned to any Library location on campus.
Onsite use
Library users who have special research needs may ask to consult the collection at the Repository. Further details about this service will be available at a future time.
