How to find what material is in Reserve collections
If a lecturer has requested that material be placed on Reserve it can be found in the catalogue by either:
A search of the entire catalogue under Author, Title, or Author/Title etc., for specific items, which will identify the location as, for example: CHIFLEY reserve 2HR. This method must be used to search for Lecture tapes, Lecture videos and Lecture notes because they are not recorded on course lists. You should enter the name of the lecturer in the author field or the name of the course or the course code in the title field.
OR
By searching on the Catalogue home page under Course name using the ANU unit code or unit name, for example: HIST1001 or Biology AO3 or under the Lecturers' name eg. Cooper, Paul or Hyslop. The search will bring up the list of items put on Reserve for the course and it will show whether the material is available for 2HR or 2DAY, and in which library it is held.
