Two separate initiatives were undertaken as part of this Project:
Currently SASI indexes academic and current affairs journals published primarily, but not exclusively, in Southeast Asia. It also includes some major European publications. The number of journal titles indexed in SASI grew substantially in 1997 when the Royal Institute of Linguistics and Anthropology (KITLV) Library, in Leiden, The Netherlands, together with their Jakarta office, joined SASI as contributing partners. More information on this index can be found on the SASI site.
