Notes on the digitisation of this work

This text was scanned using a Pentium II 233 Digital PC 3000 with 48mb RAM attached to a HP Scanjet flatbed scanner.

The jpg images were scanned at 75 dpi in True Colour using Adobe Photoshop 4.0.

The text was created using Omnipage OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software in conjunction with HP PrecisionScan Pro 1.0 at an initial resolution of 300 dpi.

The resulting text was imported into Microsoft Word and any obvious textual inaccuracies corrected using MSWord's automatic spell/grammar checking facility.
