Science materials are located in the WK Hancock Building and in the two science branch libraries.

The W.K. Hancock Building is the main science library building, with material in many branches of science and techonology.
Location: Corner of Biology Place and Sullivans Creek Road, Building 43 on campus map
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30 am - 11 pm; Friday 8.30 am - 6 pm; Saturday 1 pm - 7 pm; Sunday 1 pm - 10 pm
Photocopying: Photocopiers are located in the Basement and on Levels 1, 2 and 3. There is a colour photocopier located on Level 1. The photocopiers are Copy Card operated and cards may be purchased and revalued on Level 1. Change is not available in the building.
Subjects:General science, history and philosophy of science and science policy; mathematical and computing sciences; physics; psychology, biological and medical sciences; forestry, geography, geology and environmental sciences; engineering and technology.
Size: Over 900 current serials and over 200,000 monographs.

Earth Sciences Branch Library
Location: Jaeger Building, Building 61 on campus map, Research School of Earth Sciences
Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm (Authorised users only may have after-hours access)
Photocopying: Copy Cards may be purchased from the Librarian for $2 or $5. One photocopy machine is available for public use.
Subjects: Earth sciences, especially geochemistry, geophysics, lunar and planetary studies.
Size: Over 500 current serials and over 26,000 monographs.

Chemistry Branch Library
Location: Arthur Birch Building, Building 35 on campus map, Research School of Chemistry
Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm (Authorised users only may have after-hours access)

Subjects: Organic, inorganic, physical and theoretical chemistry with strengths in theoretical organic chemistry, coordination chemistry, solid state chemistry, chemical physics, and surface and colloid chemistry.
Size: Over 400 current serials and over 22,000 monographs.

Ask at the Information Desk for advice on using the catalogue, information about the collection, and information about training programs which can assist in the use of the Library's information resources.
Loans Desk
To borrow from the Library, take the required items, together with your Library or student card to the Loans Desk. The bookmarks Loan Schedule and Library Fines/Penalties contain full details of loan conditions. If the item you require is already on loan you may place a hold on the item using the Library catalogue. Consult Placing a Reservation (Hold).
Reserve Area
The Reserve Area in the W.K. Hancock Library contains high use course materials (books and photocopied articles) in the sciences.
