Level 2 of the Law Library is closed while repair work takes place on the roof

What will be impacted during this closure? 

• The physical Library collection on Level 2 will be restricted, and unable to browse. 
• The Level 2 group study rooms and Law Seminar Room will be unavailable.  
• The toilets and hot/cold water will be unavailable (please use facilities at Moot Court). 

24-hour access will remain to Level 1 (the ground floor) during construction. This includes the information desk, study areas, Level 1 collections, MFDs, computer areas, and return chutes.

There may be impacts to entryways and other areas of the College of Law building during this process. For your safety, please follow any signage or directions from Security or Library staff. 

How will I access Library materials? 

A retrieval service will be in place for those who need to access resources from Level 2.

Items will be collected daily and made available on the Level 1 hold shelves. These can be borrowed via the self-check machine 24-hours a day. 

If you have an urgent request, please notify library staff who will aim to retrieve your item as soon as is safely possible. Requests will not be processed on weekends or public holidays.

Identified textbooks for Semester 2 courses have been moved to a temporary location on Level 1 to facilitate ease of access.
