ANU Library buildings reopen on 2 November

The ANU Library is pleased to welcome students and staff back to campus from next week. 

 

Opening hours 

Starting Tuesday 2 November 2021 – the JB Chifley, WK Hancock, and Law Library branches will open 24/7, with staff available to assist you 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays). ANU staff and students will need to swipe your card for access when the libraries are not staffed. 

The RG Menzies Library will be open 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. 

The Art & Music Library will not be open for the rest of the year. If you need access to items from this branch, please speak with staff at the Chifley Library or submit a Click & Collect request.  

The ANU Print Repository will not be open for visitors at this time. 

 

Keeping safe 

Social distancing requirements must be maintained when using the libraries. 

All of our buildings have hand sanitiser available at the entry/exit points. Please use these to maintain hygienic conditions. 

All those entering any ANU building are encouraged to check in using the Check in CBR app.

Please adhere to guidance and messaging around COVID-safe behaviours.  

 

Getting support 

ANU Library staff are available to assist you during business hours. Consultations online or via phone are preferred, though short face-to-face meetings can be arranged if required.  

 

Library fines waived 

The ANU Library is waiving overdue library fines on ordinary collection materials until 31 January 2022. Read this article for more details.
