In commemoration of Scopus' 10th year anniversary, Elsevier Research Solutions is organising a series of seminars across Australia aimed at equipping Australian scientific editors with the tools to enhance the global visibility of their journals. On Monday 13 October, the ANU Library will be co-hosting the Scopus Editors Seminar that will be held in Canberra.
This seminar will provide editors with an opportunity to network with their peers; learn how Scopus can help with their research, and share ideas on how to take advantage of Scopus to identify and increase overseas collaboration prospects. Seminar invitees will cover topics on the Scopus journal selection criteria and evaluation process, assessing journals for inclusion into Scopus, and using Scopus as an editor workflow tool. A 10th anniversary champagne afternoon tea will follow the seminar.
The Scopus Editors Seminar will be held on Monday 13 October from 2-5pm at the Allan Barton Forum, level 2, ANU College of Business and Economics. RSVP is required and agenda and confirmation will be sent upon registration.
