Would you like to learn more about privacy?
Privacy training sessions will be delivered the week of 30 March 2020. These sessions will be delivered by Susan Bennett, an expert privacy consultant with extensive experience advising Australian universities on handling personal information in the university context.
These two hour workshops will be interactive and provide a forum to discuss practical issue; what to look out for when dealing with personal information; and ensuring security of personal information. Some sessions are tailored to a particular topic, but all sessions will be of universal relevance.
Register for a session that suits you:
- Privacy and students 3 sessions (31 March, 1 April and 3 April)
- Privacy and HR information 2 sessions (31 March and 2 April)
- Privacy and research 1 session (1 April)
- Privacy, Alumni and Marketing 1 session (2 April)
- GDPR discussion 1 session (3 April)
This training complements the Privacy Awareness Pulse module, which was released in July last year. We encourage you and your team to access the module prior to attending the training - to increase your knowledge of privacy and understand its context in the University, .
