It’s Library and Information Week. This event, organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), aims to raise the profile of libraries; showcase the resources and services they provide to the community; and celebrate the work that library workers do all around Australia!

The theme for 2021 is Adventures in Space and Time. Join us in celebrating Library and Information Week by taking an adventure through our collections!

ANU Library has a great research collection on Space & Time, including the title Biotechnology in Space from the Springer Biomedical and Life Sciences eBooks collection.

For more information on space, explore our Astronomy Subject guide. The NASA news feed has some interesting things about what the astronauts are doing!

Find out more about life in space and time by using SCOPUS, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed research literature with more than 20,500 titles! One example of what you can find is Habitability issues in long duration space missions far from Earth.

ANU Library staff would take these books into space
