New Read and Publish Agreement with the American Psychological Association
We are very pleased to announce that the ANU Library has a new Read and Publish (RAP) agreement with leading publishers in the field of psychology, the American Psychological Association (APA).
The new agreement will accelerate progress towards open research and allow ANU authors to publish open access in over 80 journals without having to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs).
These journals cover the incredibly broad depth and breadth of psychological studies, from developmental psychology, to neuroscience, to personality studies, to cultural diversity and ethnic minority psychology.
The agreement represents savings to the University and authors, and will allow more publication of ANU research as open access, with all the additional benefits that brings.
The agreement covers all of 2024. ANU authors who have already had an article accepted in an APA journal in 2024 are eligible to convert that article to open access without being charged an APC.
Further details about the agreement, the journals covered by it and how ANU authors can publish open access under the agreement are available in our Read and Publish Agreements guide.
All announcements regarding RAP agreements are on the Library website.
