The ANU Print Repository is being relocated

Did you know that the majority of the ANU Library’s print collection is stored off-site?

Most print journals, records, and lesser-used items are stored in the ANU Print Repository in Hume. This collection takes up around 45kms of shelving!

Starting Monday 13 November, the entire collection stored at the repository will be moving to a new storage facility in Symonston. As you can imagine, this will be a significant project. The relocation will enable a long-term strategy for collection storage.

Material stored off-site will not be available for use during the relocation period.

If you require access to material from the Print Repository, all items will remain discoverable in the library catalogue and will have a notice advising alternative methods of access.

It is anticipated that this project will continue through to February 2024. Updates about the project timeframes will be made available on the ANU Library website.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this process.
