The ANU Print Repository is being relocated

Did you know that the majority of the ANU Library’s print collection is stored off-site?

Most print journals, records, and lesser-used items are stored in the ANU Print Repository in Hume. This collection takes up around 45kms of shelving!

The entire collection stored at the repository is in the process of being moved to a new storage facility in Symonston. As you can imagine, this is a significant project. The relocation will enable a long-term strategy for collection storage.

Material stored off-site will not be available for use during the relocation period.

If you require access to material from the Print Repository, all items will remain discoverable in the library catalogue and can be requested via the document supply request form.

It is anticipated that this project will continue through to July 2024. Updates about the project timeframes will be made available on the ANU Library website.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this process.
