Art & Music Update August 2024
Hail remediation work continues at the School of Art & Design, including the Art & Music Library branch. A firm timeframe for reopening is still being worked towards, with October 2024 being the latest advice provided in the 14 May 2024 On Campus – staff edition. The Library will continue to provide regular updates, and you can read past updates on the Art & Music updates webpage.
A major activity will be the removal of the mobile storage units [compactus] from Monday 19 August and installation of standalone double sided library shelving. The collection material from mobile units will remain in the branch with new shelving installed in this area. There may be disruptions to collection availability at this time.
Access to the collection for the purposes of providing a Click & Collect service resumed in July. Much of the collection can be accessed by making a retrieval request via the catalogue. If the materials you require are not currently available, our staff will assist with interlibrary loans and document supply. Please contact artmusic.library@anu.edu.au for assistance with your requests.
