Four student exhibitions open across the Library

28 Oct 2016

Students from the Exhibition Design & Delivery course officially opened four exhibitions today, one in the Art & Music Library, one in Hancock Library, one in Chifley Library and the other in the Menzies Library.

Each exhibition features items from the Library’s collection, including fairy tales from the Mortlake Collection, early colonial flora and fauna illustrations from the rare book collection, famous Modernists novels from the 1920s, and items showcasing the symbolism of the human heart across time and civilisations.

University Librarian, Roxanne Missingham, congratulated the students on producing fantastic, and engaging exhibitions.

“We love to see students use and engage with our collection in such creative ways and we are thrilled the students chose our buildings to hold their exhibitions”.
