Welcome to our new Senior Privacy Officer

University Librarian Roxanne Missingham is thrilled to welcome Alex Caughey Hutt, who has been appointed as ANU Senior Privacy Officer.

In this role, Alex will work closely with all areas in the university – academic and administrative – to ensure we meet all our privacy obligations, and help support the ANU community in all privacy matters.  Alex will lead the implementation of new privacy changes at the University – linking cyber security, information governance and privacy.

Alex previously worked in the Division of Student Administration and Academic Services, and brings to this new role great strengths in information management; law; knowledge of ANU systems; as well as both university and government experience.
