Requesting material from the ANU Print Repository

ANU staff and students and registered external borrowers can request journal articles, book chapters, and physical items (such as books, pamphlets, and journal volumes) from the ANU Print Repository using the online form accessed from the relevant catalogue entry.

Requests will not be processed on weekends or public holidays.

Items requested from the ANU Print Repository are subject to the ANU Library’s loan periods and fines and charges.

Journal articles and book chapters

Journal articles and book chapters are provided electronically within two working days and will be emailed directly to you. Once your request has been processed you will receive an email with instructions for online access.

Physical items

Physical items can be delivered to the Chifley or Hancock Library reserve areas within three working days, where they will be held for collection for seven days. Once your request has been processed you will receive an email when your item is ready for borrowing. Physical items can be returned to any Library branch on campus.

On-site use

You are welcome to consult the collection in-person by contacting the Repository and making an appointment during opening hours.
