Requesting material from the ANU Print Repository

ANU staff and students and registered external borrowers can request journal articles, book chapters, and physical items (such as books, pamphlets, and journal volumes) from the ANU Print Repository using the online form accessed from the relevant catalogue entry.

Requests submitted by 1pm on Tuesday will normally be available from your nominated branch after 1pm on Wednesday. Requests submitted by 1pm on Thursday will normally be available from your nominated branch after 1pm on Friday

Items requested from the ANU Print Repository are subject to the ANU Library’s loan periods and fines and charges.

Journal articles and book chapters

Journal articles and book chapters are provided electronically. Once your request has been processed you will receive an email with instructions for online access.

Physical items

A twice weekly courier service delivers physical items to the Chifley or Hancock  Library hold shelf where they will be held for collection for seven days. Physical items can be returned to any Library branch on campus.

On-site use

You are welcome to consult the collection in-person by contacting the Repository and making an appointment during opening hours.
