Chifley collection rebuilding updates

On 25 February 2018, there was a devastating flood in the Chifley Library.

The ANU community have done incredible work to rebuild ANU Library collections, buildings and facilities. Collections have not only been replaced, but dramatically improved – with over 14 million additional items added since the flood.

This page contains all the updates that were released to keep the ANU community informed of rebuilding progress.

Tailored updates will continue to be sent directly to the scholarly community, outlining the work being done to improve and rebuild collections specific to their disciplines.

We welcome your suggestions for purchases to replace items that were lost, or to further improve our collections.

The list of monographs lost in the flood is available online. If you would like to donate material, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We would like to thank our generous donors. We are extremely grateful for your generosity.
